As you approach your Retreat, you will notice the Bright Southwestern Adobe Styled Exterior of the Main House, Casita and Courtyard. The Landscape complements the Property with colorful Lantana, Deep Green Shrubs, Cactus and Palms placed on a palette of varying colors of rock.
You can choose to pull into the property at the Front Circle Drive or directly on to the Flat 85' Long /30' Wide Main Driveway. At the end of the Main Driveway, you will see an Adobe Styled 2-Car Garage with Modern Frosted Glass Sectional Doors. We recommend that you use the circle drive and wide drive to turn around so you pull out not back out as you leave the property on Acoma. The house keys will open the side entrance to the Garage and the Garage-door-opener button is on the wall next to the side door. The garage is 25' deep and can accommodate Cars, Standard Trucks, SUV's , PWC's and most 21' boats on trailers. In addition to the door opener light and the 4 ceiling lights, there are 2 Sky lights to bring in natural light during the day.
The first time you enter the Main House or the Casita, It will need to be from the front Courtyard. Both the Main House and Casita have separate entrances and both will have a key in a lock box or digital entry code at the main entrances. A laundry room is off the back of the Casita.
Main House: You enter through the double doors from the Courtyard into a foyer that is nicely tiled that continues everywhere you see. You can see the Dining room slightly to the left, the large Livingroom with a wood burning fireplace, super comfortable oversized down filled leather sofa and loveseat, a massive beanbag and other nice furnishings straight ahead and slightly to the right and to the far right is the beginnings of the kitchen and side door exit.
The large kitchen is fitted with all of the essentials needed for creating a culinary masterpiece or just heating up some pizza. The modern refrigerator has 2 Ice Makers (One in the frig door and the other in the freezer). The tiled backsplash is unique hand-painted subway style brick and the counters are slab granite. There is plenty of cabinet space as well. A portion of the counter and cabinets serve as a place for 4 to grab a quick bite and beverage before hitting the lake, desert or town or as overflow dining for a larger party. The Kitchen has a side door to make grilling and dining outside almost seamless and allows for ease access to the garage, laundry, driveway and backyard.
Going to the left off the foyer is a hall closet with spare linens, pillows, an air mattress, pool towels, first aid kit and vacuum. Then the main bathroom is on the left. it has a separate sink/mirror area that can allow someone to get ready, while someone else use the shower/tub or other facilities. Dining room is open to the main bath and hall closet on one side, the living room and kitchen on another, a siding door to the backyard , a BBQ, outdoor dining, Solar heated pool and conversation area on the third wall and a bright accent rug covers the last wall.
Continuing on, you reach the first bedroom - "The Carlsbad Bedroom" with a Queen Bed, beach theme, walk-in closet and lighted ceiling fan. The next door on the left as the hall turns right is the 2nd bedroom . Room 2 has a Queen and a Twin bed, two sliding closets and lighted ceiling fan. The hall ends at the entrance to the large primary bedroom and bath. The room offers a tall CalKing bed, wall mounted smart TV, lighted ceiling fan and Sliding door to the backyard. The primary bath has double sinks, walk-in shower, toilet and a large walk-in closet with built-in shoe rack and skylight.
Now about the Casita: On the outside, the casita has the same Adobe Casa feel as the main house; however, this space is a retreat inside the retreat.
It is second master suite, complete with 3 piece bath/walk-in shower, Modern Kitchenette with full-size Fridge, Microwave, Toaster-Oven/Air Fryer, 10 Cup Coffee Maker; Large Sink with cutting board, drying rack and garbage disposal, Living space with Queen size Sleeper Sofa, 50" Smart TV, Tall Dining Table for 4 and the main bed is a new plush Queen Pillow top.
The entire property is covered with automatic dusk-to-dawn exterior lights and a Soft Water system.
This is a home that you will never want to leave!
