Summary: Bed was comfortable and the room adequate. Free fire wood was left each day for the fire place The trails were in excellent condition and plainly marked. The issues were dirty carpets, it had spider webs and cobwebs, there were dead bugs and dirt in the corners of the floors, the bathroom and vanity area needed a remodel, and if you are over six feet the shower will be a challenge, Restaurant was only open from 8:00 am until 5:00 pm and you had to go to the counter to order your food which is advertised differently on their website. Parking near the lodge is limited. Check-in is at 4:00 pm but not before. People started cuing up near 4:00 pm. There was only one person at the registration desk which delays your time to check in. All the Information for the park and lodge is in the hand out material but they need to remind the guest there is no smoking in the park due the fact there were guest smoking. We guess they believe guest would read the material. There are a great number of dogs in the lodge.
