There’s fun on the water. Fishing giant Striper Bass and abundant Rainbow Trout or your riding on a personal watercraft or boat. If you don’t have your own jet ski there are many rental companies close by who will arrange a rental for you. Annual float parties on the river in the summertime are very popular. The giant Lake Mohave is accessible behind Davis Dam at Katherine’s Landing an easy 26 minutes to the north. From there you visit 198 secluded beach coves and 237 miles of coastline that divides Nevada and Arizona! If you have the right boat you can run all the way to the Hoover Dam, 70 miles north. If the boating party scene is more to you liking, Lake Havasu is just over an hour away with it’s famous London Bridge Channel.
We have our own neighborhood private boat launch just 1500 yards away with key card access (supplied). You’ll never have to wait to get onto the water launch again. Even without a boat you can take advantage of the fishing opportunities at our launch site so grab your fishing pole and try your luck.
Plan a day to Oatman AZ to feed the Burros or off four wheeling in search of adventure. There are great rockhounding spots, ghost towns to visit, 4x4 roads or meteorite strewn fields to explore.
The Grand Canyon is three and a half hour of so commute. Or if excitement is what your looking for, The Las Vegas Strip is only a short 1 hour 45 minutes. The Palo Verde Community is ideal location and offers something for everyone.
If you prefer to stay local, night-time excitement is a short drive. Laughlin Casinos are located just 20 minutes away and offer great entertainment, gambling and many wonderful dining options.
If golfing is your forte we have you covered. There are about 12 courses nearby. Offering everything from nine hole courses to 36 hole Country Clubs.
Palo Verde is a community located on a 40 acre green belt where kids and adults are welcome to explore and play, with six catch and release fishing ponds located within the greenbelt for all to enjoy.
PLEASE NOTE: We like to vet our guests a little more thoroughly. We chose to talk with potential guest you on the phone prior to accepting your booking. We do not allow parties or large gatherings of more than 6 people including the booked family and the HOA has rules against noise, parking parking etiquette, marina use, etc, and ask that guest be respectful of our home and neighborhood.
You can park your car, trailer or boat on the street but most vehicle-boat combinations will exceed the width of the property line, so you'll likely have to disconnect your trailer. If you block the neighbors property (including any empty lots ) or tires on your vehicle or trailer are on the sidewalk, you will be in violation of HOA rules and may be fined. Vacant lots in the community are not for use by anyone, you may be towed by the owner or the HOA. You will not be reimbursed for any fines or fees incurred.

The following actions may result in forfeiture of damage deposit and potential immediate eviction:
-More people staying overnight and/or pets other than listed on the initial rental booking I,e max 4 individuals including children.
-More people on premises other than permitted i.e maximum 6 guest total on property at any given time. No additional overnight guest permitted
-Tampering with security systems including Alexa, router and hub, Ring Doorbell, -Exterior cameras and interior sensors
-Tampering with mechanical items such as water heater, outside a/c condensor, etc.
-Any violations of HOA regulations such as improper parking, speeding in a no wake zone, noise after 10:00 p.m etc. A complete list of Covenants, Restrictions and Rules is in the Welcome book.
