Positive: Being in the middle of Roma Norte, the location is amazing. The apartment itself is relatively large, and the best part about it - other than the location - are the rows and rows of bookshelves stacked with lots of interesting books, magazines, and reference guides. In addition, the beds were clean and comfortable.

Negative: Unfortunately, the above positives were often negated by a whole bunch of negatives that we wish we'd known about in advance, because they would've resulted in us staying elsewhere. First, the apartment is three flights of stairs up; not an issue for those who are young and fit, but it was a huge issue for my mother who is partially disabled. As far as I can tell, this fact isn't mentioned in the apartment listing, but perhaps I've missed it. In addition, the apartment itself is showing lots of small signs of wear and tear in just about every room, and the second bedroom is small and dark. There were neighborhood dogs barking at all times of the day and night, so bring earplugs if you're a light sleeper. The clothes dryer didn't work; after five attempts at full power, we gave up and used one of the local lavanderias. In addition, there were lots of small things missing from what is presented as a turnkey apartment. For example, there are no dish towels provided in the kitchen, and when we asked the concierge staff if they could give us one, they told us no, because the cleaning staff counts all towels in the apartment (??).

Summary: We would not recommend this property.
