Drive 1 hour from Sacrmento or South Lake Tahoe to a gated home in the forest with wrap around deck and 4 designated parking spaces available upon entrance with street parking available as well. Our front yard will make you swoon, surrounded by towering pine trees and visited by delightful birds and busy squirrels, make sure your camera is charged and ready to capture lasting memories!When you enter the cabin, you’ll notice the soaring open beam ceiling and an open floor plan that captures the fully equipped kitchen with large appliances and a coffee station, dining table, and a relaxing living room equipped with sizable Roku TV facing large windows with pine trees decorating your window views. There are two sliding glass doors leading out to the sprawling deck with an incredible view. The deck is the perfect spot to drink your morning coffee or tea and enjoy the peaceful nature.
All beds have brand new mattresses with mattress protectors. There are 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths. Two bedrooms on the main floor have a queen and a king bed. The loft has 2 twin beds. The bonus room downstairs has a comfortable recliner sofa and an armchair, multi game table, board games, card games, and a projector which you can connect to your phone (or log into your favorite streaming service with provided fire TV stick) and have a movie night (p.s. grab some popcorn at the nearby Safeway)! There is a sliding glass door which will lead you out to the porch with a luxurious hot tub awaiting with massage settings that will get you to unwind and relax. The W/D is located in the bonus room, along with 1/2 restroom.
If your desire to relax, read/write in a tranquil space, this is it. If you need adventure such as hiking, water skiing, horseback riding, snow shoeing, biking, kayaking, etc you found the spot. If you are a wine guru, don’t forget to check out the wineries (over 140 wineries just in Amador and El Dorado County alone!).
Fires: Due to recent fires in El Dorado County, I no longer can use the fire pit outside and cannot allow smoking anywhere on the property. If you are a smoker, please find another accommodation. I hope you understand and join the effort to prevent any more fires in this beautiful county.
Winter: The driveway is semi steep. During winter, chains are highly recommended for all vehicles except four-wheel-drive with snow tires. The road conditions are unpredictable in the winter, make sure you check before heading out and/or call Caltrans for road updates.
Steps: There are some stairs around the property, and the front yard is multi leveled with some edges that drop few feet down.
Pets: No pets allowed.
Wildlife: Please be mindful of the wildlife in the surrounding area. Do not leave any food outside of the house. Dispose of trash bags in the garbage bin located in the storage shed.
