We invite you to enjoy the wonders of the Cornet Bay Lodge! This secluded lodge is located on ½ acre and was custom-built to perfection. Here you can experience the beauty of Cornet Bay, Deception Pass, Whidbey Island, and the beautiful northwest. Located less than a mile from the entrance to Deception Pass State Park (the most visited park in Washington), you can view and photograph the glorious sunsets from the Deception Pass Bridge. You are sure to see the local deer strolling through and hummings bird visitors.
Activities in the area: Hiking biking and walking trails, endless saltwater shorelines for beachcombing, a swimming beach, fishing, crabbing, clamming, kayaking, and whale watching. There are one-hour tours of Deception Pass on a jet boat from a local up the street.
At the house, you can relax on the spacious wrap-around deck with a spectacular view of Cornet Bay or down below on the patio. There is a waterfall and pond on the West side of the home that is beautiful and sounds lovely on an afternoon or evening when you are enjoying time outside. There is also a dog run.
Inside the home, there is much to do and plenty of space in the 4,000 square foot lodge to gather and enjoy company and also enough space to enjoy some quiet peaceful time alone.
The kitchen is perfectly designed! It has tons of appliances for all your cooking needs, such as an oven, gas stove with 4 burners, microwave, toaster, nuwave pressure cooker, crockpot, blender, William Sonoma Bestpresso, popcorn maker, and a dual-function coffee maker. With gas burners on its island, you can chat with the chef in your group while watching what's being cooked up for family and friends.
Located on the second floor, the living space includes the kitchen, formal dining room, sitting area with a 65in TV, powder room and a great front room with a double sided fire place (also faces the dining room) and 180 degree views of Cornet Bay.
There are 3 dining areas on the second floor adjacent to the kitchen. The front room has a table than can fit 4-6, the main dining table 6-8 and 3 at the breakfast bar.
The front room has a table that comfortably sits 4 pushed up against the wall and 6 when pulled out. There is a sitting bench for lounging and reading a good book while taking in the views.
Upstairs there are the first 3 bedrooms and a seating area for lounging with a book and relaxing. This area could also fit a trundle bed.
Downstairs there is a large living room with many couches, a 75in TV, a desk, large dining table. It also has a full bathroom, bedroom, and nook with coffee maker, single portable stove and popcorn machine. There is also a lovely patio with two chairs and a table outside the french doors.
Bedrooms Descriptions:
Bedroom 1: Master Suite - Located on the 3rd floor, french doors lead you into this extremely spacious master suite with a romantic California king slay bed and the best view in the home.180-degree windows line the room with gorgeous views of Cornet Bay. Inside the master suite, head down the hall to the large private bathroom with a double sink, huge jetted tub, and separate shower. There is also a telescope, a custom-made meditation table, one walk-in closet as well as a guest closet and a dresser for guest use, and a desk. The bathroom window faces the running pond for lovely waterfall sounds. (Sleeps 2, could also pull in a trundle bed or air mattress if needed to sleep 6)
Bedroom 2: Guest Suite - Located on the 3rd floor, this suite has beautiful original artwork, a queen bed and an on-suite bathroom that includes a sink, toilet, and bathtub/shower.
Bedroom 3: The Family Sleeping Room - Located on the 3rd floor, the room sleeps 4 comfortably with four twin beds, two pulled together to make a king.
Bedroom 4: Located on the ground level, it has a private entrance and a queen bed with full closet and dresser for guests to use.
Other: Located on the 1st floor, this is the downstairs living space. It has a futon that folds out to a full bed. Bedding and sheets are provided, just let us know if you need to use this as a sleeping area. There is also 2 other couches, and a queen-inflatable matress
Parking:
There is plenty of parking at the Cornet Bay Lodge, with an attached two car garage, two parking spots in front of the house, and 8 down below the house near the detached garage.
