A picturesque private house lies along the border of Shenandoah National Park. Near old rag trail and other great trails such as white oak canyon trail, cedar run trail and rose river fire road trail. A perfect serene getaway, where you can relax and unwind, while you are surrounded by beautiful views of the mountain, streams, and nature. The house has 2 ponds, private streams, and about 30 acres of private land for trail, and hiking. The house is supplied by spring water which not only tastes great but also feels great to shower in. Sit back and relax in our new hot tub and light up the outdoor fire pit. Firewood and firestarter are provided for your convenient. Enjoy your morning sipping a cup of coffee outside on our patio. Enjoy your day relaxing by the stream or pond. We have a badminton/volleyball net setup in the backyard. Badminton rackets, volleyballs, and birdies are provided for your entertainment. Inside, you can enjoy our sunroom by sitting near the wood stove, watching movies, or playing foosball. Cook your food in our fully stocked kitchen and enjoy a good night sleep in our comfortable beds. There are multiple beds that can accomodate a large family. Room size is large with own bathroom that will not make you feel cramped. There is no high speed internet in the area and also no cell signal as well, which is a charm of living in the mountain. There is satellite internet provided that can allow you to surf the web and check email. You can use wifi calling/ texting. However, it can not handle multiple users streaming large bandwith at the same time and speed can fluctuate. We recommend not to stream movies with the internet but to watch our direct tv cable tv on our large tv. 100 dvds is also available for your viewing.
