A stylish apartment with its own separate lounge, kitchenette, bathroom and shared use of a pool, that provides you with a comfortable, private stay. Amenities include Free Parking, High-Speed WiFi and self check-in anytime after 2pm.
The unit has a queen bed in the separate bedroom and the second queen bed is a fold-down bed in the main large lounge/dining/kitchenette area.
Birkenhead Point is a wonderful central location to spend time with family, friends or working remotely. A huge number of restaurants, bars and cafes are all close by. Public buses and the ferry terminal are 5 min walk away. Property not suitable for under 5s.
THE SPACE:
Your comfortable lounge area with incredible views of Chelsea Sugar Works and Waitemata harbour is waiting for you. Sit back and relax by the pool while you watch the sun set behind the Waitakere Ranges. Inside you have a massive 65 inch SMART TV, free high speed WIFI, a fabulous sofa that we affectionally call ‘Oscar the Couch’, a kitchenette that includes a sink, mini fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster as well as all the things we want when we head away on holiday so you can keep yourself satisfied in-house if you don’t want to hit the many restaurants up the road. Please note there is no oven/stove. There is, however, a BBQ in the covered patio right outside the lounge door (complete with side burner/gas ring for boiling a pot) with a great view of the shared swimming pool (heated late Oct through to March - temperature normally ranges between 21-26 degrees celsius), an outdoor shower and outside deck/seating area that also has 2 loungers in case you want to catch the sun. Add to that a completely separate bedroom with a queen sized bed and its own deck as well as a recently renovated bathroom with a massive shower. You’ll have your own private entrance to the property and an off street car park. If you are looking for a space that fits more than 2 people then there is also a fold-down Murphy bed in the lounge area so you can sleep up to 4 people should you so desire.
Although you have your own separate, independent accomodation we also live onsite so will usually be upstairs if you need us but, if you don’t, we’ll be totally out of your way and let you live the good life.

GUEST ACCESS:
Guests can self check-in from 2pm through their own separate entrance and enjoy their 2 rooms, bathroom, own deck off the bedroom, own covered outdoor area off the lounge/kitchenette and shared use of the swimming pool and surrounding deck areas. Off street car parking is reserved for one car and more free parking is normally available on the street. Checkout is 10am.
OTHER THINGS TO NOTE:
• Unfortunately pets are not allowed on the property.
• Smoking or vaping is prohibited inside the home and within a 20-metre radius of the house.
• There is no full oven or stove inside but there is a bench top 18 litre capacity convection oven. and an electric hot plate.
• There is a sink, microwave, work space, toaster, jug, etc and a BBQ with a side burner should the microwave not be enough for your cooking needs.
• Pool use and outside noise is allowed from 8.30am until 10pm - please respect our neighbours.
• Parties, gatherings, and functions of any kind are strictly prohibited on the property.
• Guests are allowed a maximum of 2 visitors at any one time. Under no circumstances will visitors be allowed to stay the night.
• Guests and Visitors must keep noise to a minimum as not to disturb the occupants of neighbouring properties - especially during nighttime hours (e.g. 10pm-8.30am), and upon arrival and departure.
• Please place all rubbish and recycling in the labelled bins in the apartment. If you run out of room, feel free to use the large wheelie bins outside the front door and turn off all lights when you leave.
