Positive: We absolutely loved the cabins, and the awesome bush location. Great view of the mountain. Was like a glamping experience. Kids loved it - lots of space to enjoy the outdoors and wildlife - saw cows, deers, rabbits.

Negative: The communications were confusing. The advert says ‘fully solar powered’ and refers to a dishwasher and electric kettle. This is not accurate. We only found out there was no plug in power a couple of days before we arrived. This didn’t detract from what a cool place this is, but it should be clearer when booking. I’ve stayed in solar powered/off grid places before which have full power. As long as you know in advance what to expect then you can be best prepared. I also never received any of the text communications that were referred to. Otherwise a brilliant stay, highly recommend!

Summary: Awesome outdoors stay right between the mountain and New Plymouth.
